Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
To raise money for the Southern Driving Instructor Associations charitable contribution to BRAKE this year I am running in The Great South Run. BRAKE are the road safety charity campaigning to reduce death and casualties on our roads, especially among young drivers. BRAKE is the nominated charity of the Southern Driving Instructor Association of which I am a member. So please donate using this page. Remember, nearly every injury and death on the road is due to human error.
This will be my third Great South Run in a row. Having done no exercise of any sort since I rode my bike around as a kid, and feeling middle aged and unfit, 3 years ago I entered The Great South Run. So then I had to work out how to train and get through the 10 miles. Since then I have run regularly to maintain my fitness and along with The Great South Run I ran the Southsea Santa Run last year. The sight of a couple of thousand people running along the beach in Santa outfits on a windy November day is worth seeing.
So, please, however you use the roads, as a pedestrian, passenger or driver use this page to donate and help improve the safety of the roads you use.
