Story

COLIN SMITH (AGE 75)

Thankyou for supporting me on the iDrop Charity Abseil at the British Airways i360 tower in Brighton (the tallest of it's kind in the world) on Saturday 28th April 2018 organised by the Rockinghorse Charity towards the purchase of a very special scanner for The Trevor Mann Premature Baby and Children's Unit in Brighton

I am really pleased to let you know that I have been successful for a place in the brand new and first EVER iDrop!

I am currently supporting the Trevor Mann Baby Unit so all the funds raised through the iDrop Abseil event will be going there. TMBU has become one of the foremost centres for treating premature and sick newborn babies and has dramatically improved survival rates. Over 600 babies are treated at the unit every year and we work closely with the TMBU team to support them by providing the vital equipment they need for their life-saving work. With your support, we aim to provide TMBU with new Digital Radiography equipment allowing doctors to take X-rays of preterm babies at a lower radiation and get instant X-ray images.
