We have chosen to run the Reading Half Marathon in March.

We want to raise money for a charity called Shooting Star CHASE which supports local families with a child or teenager not expected to reach... their 19th birthday. 

Shooting Star CHASE recently helped friends of ours whose little boy Nathan, who was sick, unexpectedly died just after his 1st birthday in August 2012. They shared the good times and helped Nathan, his parents and his sister through the tough times with practical, nursing and emotional support, free of charge. However, with no guaranteed Government funding, Shooting Star CHASE must raise £23,000 a day to continue their vital service!!!
