Story
I was drunk. And then, I offered not to be. Because it is important to try rather than cry.
My grandmother was a great example of someone who strived. Even while her mind was cloaked by the miasma that Alzheimer's creates, she tried to connect with my family and show the same love and wit as before. And as her body eventually became lighter and then dust, she still attempted to have weight in the world; to be present.
And so it is my turn.
I'm raising money to support causes that affected someone that suffered more than they should have, and suffered too soon.
For October, I will not be drinking alcohol (A.B.V. greater than 1%). This does not mean I will be drinking non-alcoholic or British wine -- those things are always terrible -- but it does mean that I will take a break on something that has become far too much of a habit.
I'll send pictures and words every day to my web-site (https://www.coreymwamba.co.uk) -- but I will also try putting pictures here too.
I'm not setting a limit -- competitions are stupid -- if you want to donate to these causes then you will, and I am grateful because it will be encouraging. Thank you for donating.
