Story
I seem to have 'volunteered' to give up my bed for a second time!
Everyone was fantastically generous last year and I managed to raise £1,046.47. I'm asking friends, family, colleagues and contacts to dig deep again as I try and hit the £1k mark again.
Homelessness is a growing problem, sleeping rough is up 165% from 2010 and a homeless person dies on average every 19 hours in the UK. I'm sure you'll agree these are awful statistics.
In order to raise awareness and much needed funds for three local charities myself and over 50 other local business people will spend a night sleeping rough on October 10th 2019.
The money raised will be shared between The Friary, Emmanuel House and Notts County Football in the Community Trust. All charities that work with local people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
