Story

Stealth Founder Craig Smith along with friends Michael Johnson (Director of RSL Fabrications) and Paul Botterill (Director of JB Tool & Plant Hire) Have taken it upon themselves to raise money for the Royal Papworth Hospital

Charitable funds have enabled the Hospital to provide care beyond that of NHS funding alone, enhancing the Hospital’s status as the UK’s leading provider of specialist cardiothoracic care and the country’s main heart and lung transplant centre.

This is a very personal fundraiser as Stealth which has strong links with Papworth.

4 years ago Stealth member Steve Smith had a massive heart attack at the age of 42, sadly Steve passed away but Papworth did everything they possibly could and battled to save him for over 2 weeks. They have also been very supportive of the young family Steve left behind.

Last year Stealth Martial Arts instructor Helen Sharp who was born with Cystic Fibrosis under went a 10 hour life saving double lung transplant operation at Papworth, which has not only given her a new lease on life but has drastically improved her quality of life too.

I ask all Stealth members and their families to support the 3 plonkers as the navigate Europe and raise as much money as possible for this great hospital.
