Story
Hi all,
Thank you for stopping by my page. As always I am raising in memory of my Mum who passed away 5 years ago this year from Cancer.
I've had ACL reconstruction since I last raised some money, but now I'm In the position to not only challenge myself, but to hopefully raise some money in the fight against Cancer. The disease that took my Mum away.
I'll be doing 2x Half Marathons this year. The Colchester Half Marathon https://www.colchesterhalfmarathon.co.uk/ on 11th March. I'll be doing this with my good friend, Tien Ngo and it'll be our first Half Marathon.
Also I'll be doing The Great North Run on my own and I can't wait for this one. Let's hope my reconstructed knee is still going! http://www.greatrun.org/great-north-run
I'll also be throwing in some other events in the year like the Nuclear Rush with my good friend Blake Mildren, St Clares 10k, Color Run and hopefully some more with friends as well.
Every little helps the fight against Cancer and I'll be raising for Cancer Research UK. Helping identify causes, develop strategies for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. From epidemiology, molecular bioscience to the performance of clinical trials to evaluate and compare applications of the various.
All money raised will go towards providing a fight against others losing against Cancer.
Please dig deep, please cheer me on and please donate anything you can spare!
For you Mum!
