Story
For the second year in a row, the Crane Worldwide Logistics team will be participating in the CEO Sleepout in London, last year we raised £2491 that supported multiple charities supporting the homeless!
Marco Nazzari, RVP EMEIA and Kate Yates, Director Digital Marketing will be sleeping out rough overnight in Lords Cricket Ground along with other members of the London Business Community to raise funds for homeless people in the London Area.
These fantastic charities are supported by the event:
Walking with the Wounded, Streetchild United, Borderline, House of St Barnabas, Whitechapel Mission, Buses 4 Homeless, Beam
Statistics published by the government reveal that an estimated 4,751 people bedded down outside overnight in 2017, up 15% on the previous year.
The figures – based on single-night snapshot street counts or paper estimates by local authorities – show that in London figures rose by 18%, remains the centre of rough sleeping, accounting for nearly a quarter of all rough sleepers.
At Crane Worldwide we believe that donations from business as well as personal sponsorship can make a real impact on helping charities to continue their precious work in our communities.
If you can, please help support us in our fundraising.
Together we can make a difference.
