It's Benedict Cumberbatch's birthday on 19 July and this year we will be fundraising for a brilliant charity that Benedict is a patron of - Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Benedict Cumberbatch started supporting the Association after playing Stephen Hawking in a BBC drama called ‘Hawking’ in 2004.
He was made an ambassador in 2008, before becoming a Patron in 2015.
The MND Association was founded in 1979 by a group of volunteers with experience of living with or caring for someone with MND. They are the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on MND care, research and campaigning.
Instead of buying a card or gift for Benedict do please consider a donation instead and don't forget to leave your message for him in the comments.
