On the 18th May 16 members of Trail Tribe will be attempting to walk 9 mountains over 30kms in 1 day to raise money for Walking with the Wounded. This is a fantastic charity which helps ex servicemen & women who may be in need. They offer assistance through their programmes to those vulnerable veterans who have been physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged by their service and assist them in sustaining their independence through new sustainable careers outside of the military. This includes providing support to homeless veterans and veterans in the Criminal Justice System, areas which are too often ignored.

As a veteran who was injured and medically discharged I can say first hand that the support given from the military charities can be a real lifeline and I personally cannot speak highly enough about Walking with the Wounded and the programmes that they work on.
