Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Mend Our Mountains: Make One Million is raising money for vital path repair projects across all UK National Parks.

Here in the Peak District National Park we're raising funds for Cut Gate bridleway on the Derwent Moors and the iconic Great Ridge from Mam Tor to Lose Hill.

The top of Cut Gate is known as the infamous Bog of Doom. With your help and the Mend our Mountains campaign we can banish the bog, make the route more sustainable and protect the surrounding moorland.

24 Peak District National Park and Moors for the Future staff are running the Dambuster 10 on 30th June. Some of the team are new to running and will be tackling the10 mile route around Derwent and Howden reservoirs near Cut Gate to raise money to repair the Bog of Doom. If you enjoy the Peak District National Park, please help us to reach our target by donating.
