I'll be swimming 10K from Taplow to Eton down the Jubilee River on what I hope will be a warm June Sunday. Both the distance and the temperature (I'm hoping it'll be at least 16c warm) are a bit of stretch for me, so to keep me going, I'd like to raise some money on behalf of my 5 1/2 year old mate Spike.

Spike lives down the road, is an extremely cool kid, and shares my enthusiasm for films, what's not to like? What is not to like is that Spike does have to go to hospital a lot, and has had more than his fair share of medical procedures. Recently he has been going to music therapy which is part of the clinical psychology unit in the Evelina Children's hospital. He loves it! It's a fantastic resource and hugely important alongside the medical intervention he and so many kids have to go through. They struggle with funding, so I'd really like to do something to help keep music therapy going.

If you can spare a couple of quid, I'd be delighted - it'll help me get through those last couple of kilometers... brrrrr.
