Story
There are many reasons for me giving up alcohol for a year, I'm not going to lie and say that raising money for charity is the only one.
However, Home for Good are a truly exceptional bunch. Earlier this year, I ran a half marathon and raised money then. I was totally blown away by people's generosity, and the £150 target that I set was blown out of the water. I was amazed. So, I thought I'd really up the anti this time and set the bar much higher at £250. Please join me in supporting them in their pursuit to help make sure every child can have a stable, loving home where they can thrive.
Below is their vision statement:
"Our vision is a home for every child who needs one. We know that for children in care, it’s crucial to find the right placement at the right time - whether that’s a short-term foster placement in an emergency, a long-term foster placement or a new adoptive family. Currently, this isn’t always possible: there is an urgent need for thousands of foster families, and thousands more children are waiting for adoption. Home for Good exists to help make sure every child can have a stable, loving home where they can thrive."
