One of my daughter's has a rare kidney condition so I'm always looking for a way to raise money for Kidney Research UK.  I ran (and completed) the London Marathon a few years ago and successfully raised money then.  More recently I found out about the Great River Race and the challenge of rowing London, in addition to having ran it, greatly appealed!
