Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In September I asked my great friend Nigel Riley to help me create a Christmas charity song, he put me in touch with his good friend Simon Ransom who has his own studio, Simon was very kind to allow us to record at his house but also took a lot of time out to produce the music which is the hard part. We all loved doing this as we all want to help raise money for Great Ormand Street Children's Hospital.
I chose GOSH in memory of a very special little boy Dylan who's parents are very close friends of mine. Dylan sadly passed away at GOSH when he was only 4 months old after a brave battle against whooping cough. Kelly and Ian, Dylan's parents have always spoken so highly about the care Dylan received and also the amazing support that was given to them and their family and friends from the dedicated staff at GOSH.
I have also chose GOSH in support of my friends very brave daughter Tia. When Tia was 2 years old she was diagnosed with Cardio Myopathy (heart failure). Tia became so ill she was transferred to GOSH. After 14 heart surgeries all of which failed Tia's only option was to go onto a life support machine called the Berlin heart while she waited for a transplant. After 5 months Tia got the transplant that she needed and 5 weeks later she was able to go home. Tia is now 11 years old and still receives continuous care from GOSH. Her parents Stacy and Daniel say in their eyes GOSH is the best place in the world, the care Tia received was amazing and they owe them so much.
I would therefore like to dedicate this song to Dylan, Tia and all families that have lost a child or have seriously ill children.
Please help support this amazing charity, we would love to raise as much money as possible, every little helps.
Much love from
Dan, Simon n Nige xxx
