Grandad (Michael Cross) was a lovely jokey man. He was caring, compassionate and supportive. He loved his grandchildren very much. 

Grandad worked as a Heating Engineer for 50years from leaving school. He talked endlessly about retiring, but unfortunately was only able to enjoy 12 months of it. Being diagnosed in November 2016, Grandad showed little pain and acted like a true gentleman throughout the process and his entire life. 

He loved his wife Wyn, children and grandchildren dearly and loved to support them in everything they did. He always watched my shows and loved to see and hear me sing in his garden, lounge or his favourite place the dining room.

He will be sadly missed by many but never forgotten.
