Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m aiming to run and walk 1000 miles finishing with the 2017 London Marathon and I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for Children with Cancer UK.
I'm blessed to be the father of two happy and healthy little boys aged two and six months. The thought of them having to battle a major illness is unbearable. As I’m sure we all realise, not every child will be lucky so in my own small way I want to do something that will raise awareness and contribute to the outstanding work of this fantastic charity who help and support seriously ill children and their families.
Of course, I couldn't do this without the support of my wonderful wife, Rebecca, and my family so this effort is on their behalf as much as mine.
I know trying to cover 40-50 miles a week on foot, during the darkest and coldest winter months, will be really tough and your support and donations will keep me motivated and push me on towards the finishing line.

Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. Our aims are to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer.”
