Story

You may or may not know my wife and I had twin boys last year. They decided to come 11 weeks early and spent 3 months of their lives in Special Care Baby unit in Carlisle hospital. This was an extremely emotional long and hard process for us as a family watching the boys slowly but surely progressing in to healthy happy babies.

The staff on the ward don’t just look after your babies they also offer help and support to the parents and in my opinion are one of the best group of people I have ever met.  This year I hoping to raise as much money as I can for the Special Care Baby unit by taking part in the Total Warrior 10km challenge. Unfortunately the unit doesn't get enough NHS funding so the equipment is mostly bought through fund raising. It would mean so much to me if you could help me raise as much money as possible for a fantastic ward and the amazing group of people who work there.
