I'm hoping to raise money to make the festive period in some way better for those kids who are less fortunate than most.

There are too many sad stories about kids struggling through the festive period and some are simply heart breaking. It is wrong in today's age that kids would ask simply to be fed for Christmas and I want to do something about it. It would be nice to set up a "Giving Tree," as in the article, but with COVID, it's not feasible. Therefore, I'm going to try and do something different to raise some money that we can donate to this amazing charity that finds a way to make life better for kids. I'm going to attempt something that I've never done before or ever come close to. I'm not a serious runner and so running 5km for 30 consecutive days is a massive undertaking. I endeavour to do this come rain, shine, frost or snow.
