We recently received the devastating news that our Son Felix
was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, which is a type of blood
cancer.

Felix is currently responding well to treatment as an
outpatient at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. Felix has a long journey
ahead with lots of ups and downs, but we will continue to remain positive
throughout his treatment with support from staff, family and friends.  

Mark Watson, David Wilson & I will be running the Great
Aberdeen Run (Half Marathon) to raise money for Hamish Dear’s Warm Hugs. This
charity was launched in May 2016 to keep children smiling through their
toughest battles by providing activities, short breaks and gifts. Hamish Dear’s
Warm Hugs recently provided an iPad for Felix which has been a great comfort to him
throughout his treatment in hospital. We are aiming to raise £500.00 which will
go a long way to helping others in need.
