Story
From 13 – 16 September, I will be embarking on a 350k cycle tour from London to Brussels. If you know me this will come as quite a shock. It’s also quite a shock to myself; the furthest I’ve ever cycled before is from Kingston to Richmond 8 years ago and it was quite traumatic. Turns out that’s was only 5k.
This will be an intense 4-day cycle trip that will see us pass through England, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. I’m especially looking forward to day 2 where I’ll need to complete 110k...
Good news is I’ve been getting regular Uber bikes this week and been to the outlet village to buy some Lycra so think I’m going to be ok but would of course love your support!
I’m cycling to raise vital funds for a South African charity named Afrika Tikkun. Afrika Tikkun is dedicated to reducing child poverty and youth unemployment in South Africa. They do this not by giving gifts or hand-outs but by empowering young people with the necessary tools to access the economy and supporting their development from an early age. They also run healthcare and women and youth empowerment programmes.
Extra bonus, I’m going to video the trip so make a donation and I’ll send you a link to access!
Thank you in advance for your support!
