Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may or may not know I was diagnosed with Gout in August last year and have had three attacks to date in a 6 month period.
For those that do not yet know Gout is a build up of Crystals within the blood that build up around a main joint. For me it builds up around the ball of my right foot and I can feel this on a daily basis however it does vary in pain.
I wanted to complete this ride amongst many others to prove that despite this very painful form of Arthritis you can still achieve fairly hefty goals.
The first event is on April 23rd this year and I hope to complete in the100km which mainly covers the east Kent coast in under five hours pending a strong tail wind and no Gout attack :)
There is also other events coupled throughout the 2017 calendar that I am participating in and will keep you updated through this page.
