Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and few Ex-Royal Engineer mates from many moons ago are planning on doing the welsh 3000 on Aug 12th/13th ....15 mountains in Snowdonia Wales ...spanning 48km. I'm challenging myself along with a few mates who have always stayed InTouch over the years accompanied by a few mountain guides who do this probably in there sleep...I felt compelled to do something after my personal loss of my mother [Maureen Watkins] who's battle with ovarian cancer came to a dignified end in the place she wished ..St Richards Hospice in Worcester. The care she received there was above and beyond ....facilities top class....and the support and understanding given to her, family and friends is something which can never be fully appreciated with words or gestures..... They accommodate people with a vast complexity of terminal illness Cancer, MS, ME motor neuron disease to name a few....in there final phase of life with such dignity and respect. I'm sure we can all agree this must be one of hardest jobs to go to day in day out....and if by donating we help make the staffs working environment better...the patients surroundings more comfortable and show the countless volunteers who give up there time that others out there also care ....then my blisters and your genericity ....will hopefully give relief, support and show appreciation for this amazing place....

I thankyou from the bottom of my heart for reading this ....and if you can donate then please do....Dx
