Event: Bluebell Railway Track Trek 2015, on 24 May 2015
We fund preservation and skills training to ensure the future of our steam heritage.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We will be taking part in the 3rd sponsored walk, called the Track Trek, between Kingscote and Horsted Keynes stations on the evening of Sunday 24th May.

Callum would like to raise at least £100 so he can get a commemorative medal at the end of the walk !

The walk is approximately 4.5 miles long and provides the rare opportunity to walk through the 731-yard long Sharpthorne tunnel, the longest on a preserved railway in England.

Though the walk is short, it is hard work walking on a railway track.

All sponsorship money will go to the Cash for Cover and Keep Up The Pressure appeals supporting the restoration of their locomotives and essential storage for their pre-war carriages.
