Just over 2 years ago I tore my Cruciate Ligament playing football and I had to have a full reconstruction. At this point in my mind I didn't fancy playing football again and decided that buying a Road Bike to keep fit would be a good option. Over the coming months I spent hours with the Physio and lots of time in the Gym and on the Bike to build my muscles back up in my leg and get it as strong as it was before. 9 months after the operation saw me back playing football again and I continued to get some miles in on the Bike. In November of 2014 an idea was put to me about riding from Tower Bridge in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, in just 4 days and covering 292 miles. Well this seemed too good an opportunity to miss as I love a challenge.    

February 16th saw me start my 18 weeks training for the ride, which at times isn't easy, especially when you are doing all your training on your own.

The next thing that I had to think about was which Charity I would like any money that I raise to go to. Well that was easy because the work that Hope House do is fantastic, and they do so much more than you think.
