PACT & My Story

I have been supporting this local charity for a few years now through a very close friend of mine who got to experience the amazing work that PACT do for very unfortunate reasons. As some people will remember I completed this challenge back in 2014 to raise funds for PACT, and so after hitting the age of 40 last December I decided it was time to return one more time to take on what I can only describe as the most physically demanding challenge I have ever experienced.

The Challenge

Riding the full length of the Pyrenees from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean coast, the journey will take on 450 miles over 6 days and tackle some of the most challenging cycling climbs that riders of the Tour de France cover including the legendary Col du Tourmalet. Averaging 75 miles per day with at least 2 mountain climbs per day, this ride is extremely technical as well as one of the most physically demanding challenges you can take on.
