Story

I'm planning to cycle 1,083 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats. Virtually. On a recycled exercise bike. In my back garden.
Ideally, I'd be cycling LEJOG in real life. (It's top of my bucket list).
The COVID-19 lockdown means that cycling any distance is out for the foreseeable future.
So I have decided to tackle the iconic route virtually for the MS Trust. It's the equivalent of 1,083 miles. And I'm going to try to complete it during lockdown.
Upsides - no hills or midges. Downside - no beautiful scenery.

The COVID-19 emergency has created a massive challenge for those living with MS and the MS Trust. Thousands of people with MS are isolated and scared. Many are unsure how to interpret the advice from the Government, and are struggling to access specialist services.  The number of people contacting their enquiry line has increased almost threefold year on year. But while there's been unprecedented demand, fundraising has almost dried up because of COVID-19, with a £300,000 drop in fundraising predicted for 2020. I want you to help me bridge that gap.

Scotsdales Garden Centre were very generous in the support to give me a flying start for the virtual venture.

I've signed up with Conqueror events so you can monitor my progress.
