Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have MS, some of you who know me may not know that, but I do.
It doesn't define me, and I am blessed at this time to be relatively symptom free.
I can truly say though that my diagnosis in 2011 profoundly changed my life - I value every minute, more than ever before, and I take nothing for granted.
I am lucky, I have a wonderful life with much joy, but I'm also acutely aware that at any time, with no warning, and for no tangible reason, day to day life can change.
But, I will not wait for that day, after all it may not come, or may be tomorrow, it is not my choice. I will live my life fully, and respect the privilege that my opportunity is.
The work of the MS Society has many facets; from supporting those diagnosed and very importantly their families, to researching methods to beat or tame this beast, and beyond. Their work is invaluable and I hope that you can support them with me.
I'm completing this ride because I can, and that is something I am very grateful for. But mainly I'm doing this for everyone who has, or will have MS, their families, friends, carers, and so on.
I want to support the MS Society that has supported my wife and I so fully, and has and will continue to support everyone else touched by MS.
The work they do is incredible, and I believe the Society are not that far from something incredible through the research projects funded by our, and your donations.
I will do more fundraising after this so watch this page!
