We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men
Story
In June I will be heading to Brussels with Prostate Cancer UK to cycle the 190km first stage of the Tour de France.
Over 47,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year (129 a day) and one in eight men are diagnosed in their lifetime. I’m taking part in this year’s ride to try and do my bit in reducing these numbers whilst challenging myself in a new way.
I still have a long way to go to reach the donation entry requirement so any contribution would be gratefully received.
Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.
