We raise life-changing funds to enhance care at UHS

Story

I managed to achieve a world record on 2nd October at the London Marathon, for running the fastest marathon handcuffed.

The handcuffs were police-grade, made of steel and had a chain length of approx 1 inch. I ran with them in front of my body and finished in 2h55m, which was faster than the previous best by 26 minutes.

I am raising money for Southampton Hospitals Charity. Funds raised will go to enhance the care and treatment of patients at University Hospital Southampton in the various departments, including:

Children's hospital - Cancer care - Neonatal intensive care - Elderly care - A&E care - Neurology care - Heart health - Eye care - Research and development -

The hospital has been a literal life-saver for my family on more occasions than I wish to remember... and we're not the only ones - almost 1 million people receive specialist care there every year, including 150,000 children.

Thank-you for any support you can afford to give.

Dave
