When a friend or family member is experiencing some kind of emotional or physical distress the natural response is to help in any way you can. By collecting donations for my runs, I can help to raise vital funds to support research and treatment for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Muscular Dystrophy is a muscle weakening condition that gets worse over time and increases disability. MD more prominently affects boys rather than girls.  

This charity has been fighting muscle wasting conditions since 1959 and I, along with Quality Bookkeeping Ltd have a personal and very passionate interest in raising as much money as possible.

I have been running for a few years and initially joined my local Parkrun, running 5K on a weekly basis. Along the way, I have completed various 10K runs over time. My recent success at the Liverpool Half Marathon, was my greatest distance, and running achievement to date.

I have a number of planned runs, and events throughout 2018. Being able to raise funds doing something that I love, challenges and drives me beyond my own personal aspirations.
