Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

I have decided to run for DebRA in memory of my friend Jonny Kennedy, who died last September of skin cancer as a result of his EB. Jonny was an incredible man, with more courage, spirit and sense of adventure than anyone I know. I very much hope that you will support me my run for Jonny.

Jonny agreed to have a team from Channel 4 follow him during his last months of life, in the hope that it would raise awareness and funds for DebRA.

It is to be screened in March and is called 'The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off'. Please watch it - it is one of the most moving programmes you will ever watch. Jonny knew it was too late for him to benefit from DebRA's unique research programme into EB and cancer, but he was determined to ensure that others would. Please support me today and help us to make his dream come true.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: DebRA will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now! With best regards. Nell McAndrew
