On the 1st September 2018 Firefighters and Staff from Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service will set off on a charity bike ride from Eccleshall Fire Station to Barmouth in Wales. The journey of 103 miles will be completed in a day, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for DEBRA.
DEBRA is the national charity supporting individuals and families affected by Epidermylosis Bullosa (EB), a painful genetic skin condition that in worst cases, can be fatal.

In June 2016, Jamie White (son of Eccleshall Firefighter Matt) was born with EB Simplex Generalised Severe, a form of EB that effects Jamie's daily life, causing constant painful skin blisters and tears, with his skin as fragile as that of a butterflies wing.
All proceeds from the ride will go direct to Debra to assist children and the families of children like Jamie.
