I'm joining a team of friends from Fitness 4 Life Gym on Canvey Island (best gym ever) for Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. We have all lost someone, I am doing it for Lee (Hobbs) who I lost 10 years ago to cancer of the bile duct; but also someone called Kara Hiskey. She used to attend the gym but sadly lost her battle with cancer last year. I never met her but was humbled to receive an inspiration award in her memory from the gym last year. So I think it's only fitting to honour her here as well.
