Unbelievably it has been 30 years since I lost my lovely pop. To cancer.  Apart from the emotional trauma this changed the course of my life - and I really mean that.  University gone, out to work and a family to support - at 16.  I know it isn't just our family this has happened to, but it has been TOUGH.  We must find a cure for this B-awful disease.  Please support me through January when I will resist the temptation of drink in memory of my dad Reg Gill.  I need to get healthier and if I can do it in his memory and helping others too - then that is fab!
