Dennis is now receiving care at The Hospice in The Weald, a place close to his heart and a charity he has been raising money for from the very first day it was built.  He has done countless events through out the years, and raised thousands of pounds towards the charity, including a sponsored swim when he swam 80 lengths on his 80th birthday!

Everyday his closest family visit to be by his side, and comfort him, in one of our conversations yesterday he said the following...

"I just wish I could raise more for The Hospice, I want to be productive, but I cant from this bloody bed..!"

So I have created this page so he can have his wish ....

Dennis continues to be strong and determined and every penny raised towards this fantastic caring place counts.

Veronica, Stuart, Kim, Melanie and Vicky want to thank all his friends and family for your continued support, messages and all the kindness you have shown.  It really does make Dennis's day.  Thank you to all the wonderful staff, nurses and doctors who are supplying Dennis's care.

Hospice in The Weald's care is delivered free of charge for all patients, families and carers.  The Hospice is a charity, not a part of the NHS, and rely on support from the local community to help reach the £7 million they need to raise every year to make the care possible.
