Story
I want to give young people facing homelessness the hope of a brighter future - starting with Christmas dinner.
This has been a difficult year for many of us, not least for the young people facing homelessness that Depaul UK supports in South
Yorkshire.
Depaul supports almost 150 people, most of whom have experience of homelessness. Many of these people are isolated, with very small social networks.
The current social distancing guidelines means that we can't arrange a party or meal in the way that we would have done in previous years, but we want to make sure that everyone has a safe and comfortable Christmas, with a warm meal to eat and a gift to unwrap.
This winter Depaul UK is asking supporters to #ShareHope, by submitting messages of hope, displaying orange hearts in solidarity and donating to make sure we can help young people to find that sense of hope they need to begin the journey to reaching their full potential. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly
to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
If we exceed our target of £2,950, any additional money donated will go where the need is greatest to support Depaul UK’s work.
