Most didn't know until just a few days ago that towards the end of 2016 Jess was diagnosed with breast cancer and after a series of operations at the start of 2017 including some not so nice complications we are now just past the half way mark of chemotherapy. 

Dealing with cancer is tough for anybody, its especially tough when you have a 8 month old son as a new mum - but anyone that knows little Henry knows his infectious smile is keeping mummy positive.

Without a doubt she's coping well and it has been with the fantastic support of Derby Royal Hospital and the breast cancer unit there who have been nothing short of amazing. 

With that I'd like to over the course of the next few months raise a few pounds to donate to the ward to continue to allow them to give the same treatment to many more patients in need.

We are very fortunate in a lot of ways in life and so donating money to the hospital directly seems the most sensible thing to do.
