I've been raising money for Maggie's since 2008 by entering events that requires me to push myself beyond my physical and mental limits.  My next challenge is no different.  Running 170 in 6 days in a self supporting race in the Grand Canyon www.grand2grandultra.com. The reason I am taking on such an incredibly difficult challenge which will require 8 months training, is to raise as much awareness and money for Maggies as possible.

So many people are affected by cancer and that includes family members who play an important supporting role.  Maggie's is like a sanctuary and I have personally witnessed the unbelievable emotional and practical support they offer to the cancer sufferer and also their family.  Maggie's is only able to provide this service because of generous people like you.  If you know someone with cancer then please drop into a Maggie's Centre.
