MS-UK was established in 1993, and is a national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis to make the most of today, and live life to the full. MS-UK put people affected by MS at the heart of the work that they do. They provide high quality, professional services to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and they listen to people affected by MS.
I joined MS-UK as Head of Services in September 2016. I knew little about multiple sclerosis (MS) and how it affected people living with it. I am now inspired and motivated every day by individuals and I see how they overcome and face their challenges on a daily basis.
So many people do amazing challenges to raise funds for this charity which enables us to continue provide our services. The national MS-UK Helpline, New Pathways magazine, national MS-UK Counselling service and our local Wellness Centre in Colchester. I see the difference these services make for people everyday and I think it's about time I did my bit!
I climbed Scafell Pike a few years ago and loved it so can't wait to do this challenge on 21 July.
Please donate what you can to help me raise my target amount. Thank you - you are amazing!
