I am a West London GP and stand up comedian. I was very excited to debut my comedy show 'Doctor in the House: what your doctor really thinks' in London, at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill.
Then sadly the Grenfell Tower incident occurred which affected so many people in the area of the theatre and so many of our patients.
I have decided to proceed with the shows, as I believe laughter is a good medicine and dark times need light too. Also I am now using the show as a vehicle to fundraise for those dispossessed by the event. Hopefully between donations and ticket sales we can raise a lot of money and contribute towards the London Community Foundation appeal.
So please come and enjoy a laugh (I'm actually pretty good) and at the same time contribute towards a great cause. I am hoping to get some former Grenfell residents and emergency workers in the audience too.
'Doctor in the House: What your doctor really thinks': 7.30PM Friday June 30th and Friday July 7th 2017. The Tabernacle, 35 Powis Square, Notting Hill.
