Henry and I are two 17 year old students from the Oxfordshire area. On Saturday the 6th of April we will be walking the Cotswold Way from Bath to Chipping Camden (102 miles). We are going to complete the walk in as little time as possible, estimating that it will take between 30-32 hours of almost nonstop walking including throughout the night. The reason we are raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is because Henry suffers from Cystic Fibrosis.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
We are trying to raise as much awareness of our challenge and
cause as we possibly can. Please speak to anyone you think may be interested in what we are doing and show them how they can donate. All donations go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and if you are able to, please use gift aid.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
