Story

In August am planning on trying to set a new FKT (fastest known time) for a complete round of all 282 Munro's in a self propelled style of either running, cycling or kayaking between all the Munro’s. The current record for a complete round of all the Munros in a self propelled style is 39 days and 9 hours set by Stephen Pyke in 2010.

My Plan is to start the round on Saturday 1st August on the Isle of Mull by climbing Ben More before heading west toward Lochaber, finally  finishing on Ben Hope in Sutherland in early September. Some interesting stats if successful would be I would have run over 1,426 km with an eye watering 121,709m ascent and cycled 1,252km and ascended 18,683m on a bike.

For logistics and support I will have a support crew following me by road in my motorhome where I will sleep each night, refuel etc and they will also shuttle my bike about so I can follow a more linear route.
