We help people with Down’s Syndrome to reach their fullest potential

Story

My name is Dave and I'm dad to two amazing kids. My daughter, Eilidh, has Downs Syndrome and i've recently started blogging about our lives at www.downwithdad.com and on Facebook www.facebook.com/downwithdad/

Monday 21 March 2016 marks the 11th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day. I am planning to post a new blog each day in March leading up to this.... So 21 blogs. This is way beyond my creative capability so I will be inviting some guest bloggers to share their thoughts based loosely around the theme "it's ok to be different".

The blogs won't all be about DS but by being tied into my site the aim is to raise awareness of DS and also raise a few pounds to support the amazing work that DS Scotland undertake.

The blogs are not written yet, but I hope that they can make us laugh, cry or more importantly, stop and think. If through the process we can edge understanding of Downs Syndrome forward a few steps then that will be success.

Thanks for donating

Dave
