If you know me, then you know I have ran the Manchester 10k a few times, had various knee issues and moaned about training - but here I am again, this time for a half marathon!

One thing that spurs me on is my mum, who unfortunately suffers from Fibromyalgia, and yet doesn't complain or even talk about it. I don't talk about it often as I don't want others to feel uncomfortable, however that's the only way people can become more aware of this illness, by talking about it. 

So, let's raise some money for Fibro Trust! The charity is run entirely by volunteers and those who been have affected by Fibromyalgia.
