I haven't been road cycling long and I am not sure if I will manage to cycle the 70 miles but I think it is potentially 'doable' for me and a reasonable challenge.

Our church has been supporting a small orphanage in Tanzania run by a Christian pastor who has gradually been accumulating orphans - usually related in some way to AIDS deaths.  I know whenever I am confronted by issues like this I see money disappearing into a bottomless pit but finance will make a real difference to their lives.  Our church is endeavouring to build basic amenities and to keep the orphanage as a self sustaining unit.  It has bought surrounding fields to grow food and for the children to help out in.  

All the money raised is going directly to the orphanage.
