My 18 month old nephew recently underwent surgery following a
bacterial infection called necrotizing fasciitis, whilst very sick for a number of days he was placed in a medically enduced coma cared
for by the RHC ICU staff and is now being cared for by the plastic surgery staff. We have pulled together a team of
colleagues at DSS who have challenged themselves to raise a minimum of £500 through various running challenges in the forth coming Edinburgh Marathon Festival.
