Hello, my name is Eamonn Gribben. I am 56 years of age and I
am preparing to run the Great North Run on behalf of SHINE for children with Spina Bifida. I have been inspired by Carter Sinclair who is 2 years of age and is a remarkable, determined young child who never lets anything get him down or stop him from fulfilling a full and active life. I would like to raise as much money as possible and, more importantly, awareness for children who have Spina Bifida.
This is the first time I have ever ran since school and this has inspired me to come to a decision and attempt to take on the challenge of the Great North Run. I will do my best to complete the course but I would be
grateful if everyone could get behind me by sponsoring me to complete the run and help support children like Carter.
Shine provides specialist support from before birth and throughout the life of anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff. Shine enables people to get the best out of life.Everything we do is made possible by our generous supporters. Your fundraising efforts help individuals and families in your local communities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Every donation has the potential for profound impact.
