We fund biomedical research into ME to create a strategy for cure/treatment

Story

This mouth-watering jar of Tangerine confetti's raspberry coconut creams is up for grabs this Easter. Just guess how many there are in the jar! We've given you a selection of guesses to choose from, ranging between 80 to 189, as shown in the photo. These also are shown on a pinned post in the Facebook event.

Rules for entry:

Minimum donation for entry is £2 GBP for three guesses. The maximum number of guesses one individual or card holder can make is three.

How to enter:

Leave your guess in the comments on the justgiving page once you've made your donation. Please check beforehand if anyone's made the same guess though, on the pinned post in the Facebook event. Only one person can pick a particular number. We'll keep the numbers updated for you.

If you guess correctly you'll be in for a win! The winner will be announced on Easter Sunday. We'll DM you via Facebook to let you know if you've won and also announce it on the Facebook event.

Many thanks to my friend Steph for supporting the idea and donating the chocolates.

M.E (Myalgic Encephalomyeitis) is a chronic neuro-immune disease. It affects approximately 250,000 people in the UK alone, many of whom live a quality of life comparable to someone with M.S. In recent years there have been two coroner recorded cause-of-deaths (COD) by M.E: one a woman of 32 years, another a 21 year old woman. Despite this there is still no treatments available for M.E patients.

Invest in ME Research is an independent UK charity finding, funding and facilitating a strategy of biomedical research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME or ME/CFS).The charity is run by volunteers - patients or parents of children with ME - with no paid staff.Overheads are kept to a minimum and all funds raised to go to promoting education of, and funding for biomedical research into, ME.Our efforts are focused on setting up a UK Centre of Excellence for ME which will provide proper examinations, diagnosis and in time treatment(s)/cure(s).
