We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Dementia is a horrible thing and every day around 600 people in the uk develop dementia. Once you have it, you have it for the rest of your life. There’s currently no cure. It effects so many families including my own and I’m hoping by supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK they can meet their target of developing a life changing treatment.

I’m doing the Outlaw Triathlon on the 25th July. The 140 mile Ironman includes a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike and a marathon (26.2 mile run) at the end for good measure. I have to complete it all in under 17 hours. It’s going to be grim but at least after that day I can recover unlike those with dementia. I’d love it if you could donate to this cause.
